Azure thing - Sandals Resorts/Food and Travel
A full page advertorial in Food and Travel commissioned by Sandals Resorts Turks and Caicos to encourage people to book post Hurricane Irma. They also wished to promote some new facilities (food trucks, a games room etc) which were not hugely relevant to Food and Travel readers, so I have aimed to balance the client's agenda while remaining sensitive to the house style. Get a sense of it from the excerpts below.
'Feeling the need to escape February’sicyclutches? It can be hard to pick a destination that caters for everyone. Some offer Robinson Crusoe levels of seclusion, but nothing for the children. Others offer endless activities without the chance to sit and luxuriate in the sunshine, chilled glass of wine in hand. Step forward Beaches Turks & Caicos.'
'One of the world’s leading all-inclusive family resorts, it has put on its glad rags, flung open its doors and reopened bigger and better than ever post-Hurricane Irma.'
'The resort may specialise in traditional Caribbean hospitality but its finger is on the pulse when it comes to its fleet of gourmet food trucks. The newest additions, Mr. Mac, an artisan macaroni and cheese truck and Curls n’ Swirls, a vintage Volkswagen serving ice cream and frozen yoghurt, will delight both your taste buds and your Instagram following.'
'While you’re sunning yourself, the young (and young at heart) will be awed by the Play Lounge’s brand-new Xbox One X console, which is the most powerful in the world.'
'Feed their imagination at the excellent Main Stage, where pirates, princesses and Peter Pan will be brought to life by acrobats and actors as part of the dazzling new Creativa shows. However, nothing could be more inspiring than the real-life dramas which unfold beneath the azurewaves. The waters off the archipelago boast 1,000sq m of coral reefs, where sea meadows are haunted by armies of exotic fish. If you’re not an experienced scuba diver, the new SNUBA system will allow you to discover the secrets of the deep without being PADI qualified.'
